My involvement in meditation dates back 20 years. I began this path of self-discovery during my teenage years attending my first Yoga class and I recall feeling deeply connected with something well beyond the physical practice. I had touched on something I knew was going to be a life changer and sought out meditation groups which back then were few and far between.
I was raised in Newport on Sydney’s Northern Beaches and pursued working life in the corporate / design world, my strength firmly founded in building lasting client relationships. Throughout those years I was always seeking more purpose and wanting to help others along the way. Naturally, part of the journey was working on connecting to ‘self’ and dealing with my own stuff! As my personal yoga and meditation practice evolved through various techniques, teachers and yoga schools I pursued Yoga study with Master Teacher Nicky Knoff in Cairns, Australia in 2008. One little gem that Nicky shared was ‘Always maintain a Beginners Mind in life’.
In 2016 I was introduced to Vedic Meditation, a beautiful ancient technique which was a game changer. I had finally found a meditation technique that not only ‘clicked’ and was effortless, yet offered the spiritual depth and wisdom for healing and ongoing support. I am now a proud Teacher and can share with you this incredible tool to support you through life’s every day challenges with grace.
Firstly, this technique does not require you to ‘switch off’ or ‘stop the internal chatter’. It is easy, effortless and a joy to practice! Vedic Meditation is for everyone wanting to improve the quality of their lives and I believe is the most powerful gift you can give yourself. Secondly, this is not a religious practice in any way, it is simply an eye’s closed mental technique and invaluable life tool.
VM works to restore your nervous system and help manage stress and anxiety. Meditation is proven to be one of the most effective antidotes to stress. Stress accumulation happens as a result of so many factors and our ‘Fight or Flight’ response is continually triggered in this demanding modern world. Here you will learn a technique to not only clear that residual stress we become accustomed to living with, yet also manage our conditioning / reactive patterns to everyday challenges with greater ease.
It will promote a deep state of rest allowing the mind to function with more clarity. Your state of awareness becomes heightened as you feel an expansion of happiness that will translate in your waking state, or your day to day living. As a result of these internal shifts, your perspective changes, you become less reactive & more resilient, and your relationships and overall health & well-being improve.
This ancient and profound technique is derived from a tradition that has been passed down by a linage of master teachers dating back 5000 years. Originated in India, this practice arrived in the West during the 50’s by a well-known great master named Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, an enlightened Sage and Scientist with a Masters Degree in Physics.

The Course Outline
The course is run over 4 consecutive days consisting of 90 minute one-on-one private sessions. By the end of the 4 days you will be self sufficient in an effortless practice and feel immediate benefits. This course also includes the ongoing support of regular drop-in group meditations. If after the course you have any uncertainty, I will be happy to provide further guidance.

Sunday Sessions (6 – 7pm)
Free drop-in meditation sessions are held to support your VM practice and connect you with like-minded individuals. The collective energy in a group meditation offers a deeper meditation experience. It’s a great way to stay connected to your practice and available to all those who have learnt Vedic Meditation.
Divine Deep Days
Rounding is an advanced technique for those wanting to deepen & accelerate their daily meditation practice. A gentle and unique sequence of yoga asana (postures), pranayama (breathing), relaxation and meditation techniques to clear the body / mind of accumulated stress and fatigue. A Rounding immersion is guaranteed to leave you feeling deeply rested and blissful. This sequence is suitable for anyone practicing VM and consists of 3 hours of practice. Restore monthly in a comforting and cozy space held by Carly.
Rounding groups are run through the week for 1 hour sessions to help keep you grounded and regular with your practice. Get in touch re times and availability.
These sessions are available to those who have learnt Vedic Meditation and are looking for further support either for refinement & advanced techniques, and or to learn strategies for managing stress, and the other obstacles in our daily life. These 60 minute sessions take place in person or over the phone.
